허희 문학평론가는 「창모」의 해설에서, 우다영 작가는 우연에 내포된 기미에 관심이 많으며 어떤 일이 생길 낌새에 예민하여 그를 소설에 드러내는 것에 탁월하다고 이야기한다. 반사회적 성격장애를 가진 ‘창모’라는 인물이 생각하고 움직이는 메커니즘을 이해하는 ‘나’라는 서술자로 하여금 단지 ‘창모’를 공포의 대상으로 규정할 것이냐 혹은 인간적인 선의를 보여줄 것이냐에 고민하게 하는 기로를 예로 들며, ‘무수한 (불)가능성의 우연적 확률은 우리에 의해 변한다’고 평한다.

In April 2019, Woo Da-young's "Changmo" was published as the twenty-fifth work of K-Fiction.

Woo began her career in 2014 when she won the [[World Literature]] Newcomer Award in 2014. Woo is a writer who believes that all the coincidences in the world come together to create a causal relationship between human beings and human beings and society and society. As an example, the narrator, 'I', who understands the mechanism by which 'Changmo', a character with antisocial personality disorder, thinks and moves, struggles with the question of whether to treat her as an object of fear or to show her human goodwill, and comments that 'the coincidental probability of countless (dis)possibilities is changed by us'.
