책 소개

영화 〈헤어질 결심〉이 지닌 매력은 실로 다양하지만, 크게는 ‘글’과 ‘영상’으로 나눌 수 있다. 그중 ‘글’이 지닌 매력은 지난해 출간된 『헤어질 결심 각본』을 통해 증명된 바 있다. 또한 이어서 출간된 『헤어질 결심 스토리보드북』은 글이 영상으로 변환되는 과정을 알려 줌으로써 영화를 보는 즐거움을 배가시켰다. 그리고 드디어 이 영상의 가장 아름다운 순간들을 포착한 책이 출간되었다.

『헤어질 결심 포토북』에는 영화 속 순간들을 다른 각도에서 포착한 사진들이 담겨 있다. 베테랑 스틸 사진가 전영욱이 촬영한 이 사진들은 영화 속 장면들을 떠올리게 하면서도 그 장면이 지닌 아름다움을 다른 방식으로 재조명한다. 영화 촬영 카메라를 향해 모두의 의식이 쏟아질 때, 거기서 조금 비켜서 있는 사진 카메라가 포착한 모습 속에는 미처 감추지 못한 감정과 드러내지 않고 숨겨 놓았던 마음이 조금씩 배어 나와 있다. 영영 멈춰 있는 이 사진들을 가만히 바라보고 있노라면 이렇게 배어 나온 마음에 조금씩 젖어 들게 된다.

이 포토북은 사진집에 관한 비평적 안목과 제작 스킬을 겸비한 김현호 보스토크프레스 대표와 함께 본문을 꾸렸으며, 국내 최고의 보정 기술을 보유해 한국인 최초로 소니 글로벌 이미징 앰버서더로 선정된 김주원의 후보정 작업으로 마무리되었다. 총 1만 6천여 컷의 사진을 3백여 컷으로 압축해 담으면서 원작의 흐름을 새롭게 재현한 이 포토북은 팬들의 시선을 오래도록 붙잡아 둘 것이다.
