《서울대 한국어 플러스 1B》는 한국어를 처음 접하는 성인 한국어 학습자들이 약 200시간의 정규과정을 통해 친숙한 주제와 내용으로 한국어 학습의 첫 단계를 시작할 수 있게 구성하였다. 다양한 말하기 활동을 통해 학습자들이 익힌 어휘와 문법을 실제 상황에 유용하게 활용할 수 있도록 하였으며, 실제성이 높고 유용한 담화를 활용하여 듣기와 읽기를 강화하고 학습자의 의사소통 능력을 향상하고자 하였다. 또 과정 중심의 쓰기 활동을 통해 표현 능력을 향상할 수 있게 하였다.

《서울대 한국어 플러스 1B》는 지시문, 새 어휘, 대화문, 문법 설명과 문화 부분을 영어로 번역하여 제시하고, 모든 말하기, 듣기, 읽기 내용을 교재 내 QR 코드를 활용한 음성 자료로 제공하여 학습자들의 접근성을 크게 높였다. 문화 영역은 단원의 주제와 관련 있는 내용을 제시하여 한국 문화에 대한 실제적 이해와 상호 문화적인 접근이 가능하다. 상황과 문화에 대한 이해를 돕는 풍부한 삽화와 사진을 수록하였고, ‘한글 배우기’와 ‘문법 설명’을 책 속 소책자(book in book)로 제공하여 학습자의 편의를 도모할 수 있도록 하였다.

A textbook for self-directed learning that can improve speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills

《Seoul National University Korean Plus 1B》 is designed to help adult Korean language learners who are new to Korean learn the first step in learning Korean with familiar topics and content through a regular course of about 200 hours. Through various speaking activities, learners were able to utilize the vocabulary and grammar they had learned in real situations, and the aim was to strengthen listening and reading and improve learners' communication skills by using highly realistic and useful discourse. In addition, it was possible to improve expressive skills through process-oriented writing activities.

《Seoul National University Korean Plus 1B》 presents instructions, new vocabulary, dialogues, grammar explanations, and cultural sections translated into English, and provides all speaking, listening, and reading content as audio material using the QR code in the textbook to improve accessibility for learners. was greatly increased. The cultural area presents content related to the topic of the unit, enabling practical understanding of Korean culture and an intercultural approach. It contains abundant illustrations and photos to help understand the situation and culture, and ‘Learning Hangul’ and ‘Grammar Explanation’ are provided as a booklet in the book for the convenience of learners.
