EGEP BOOK 시리즈『Asian Feminisms and Transnational Activism』는 아시아여성학의 개념과 연구 성과를 소개하고 글로컬 시대 여성운동의 주요 쟁점에 대해 살펴본 연구서이다. 아시아·아프리카 여성 활동가들을 대상으로 한 여성학 교육 프로그램인 이화글로벌임파워먼트프로그램(Ewha Global Empowerment Program, EGEP)은 이화여자대학교 아시아여성학센터에서 주관하는 교육 과정으로, 이 책은 EGEP 교수진의 강의와 오픈 포럼에서 발표된 아시아여성학 연구자들의 주요 강연 내용을 선별해 엮은 것이다.

The EGEP BOOK series "Asian Women and Transnational Activism" introduces the concept and research results of Asian women's studies and examines the main issues of the women's movement in the Glocal era. The Ewha Global Empowerment Program (EGEP), a women's studies education program for Asian and African women activists, is a curriculum organized by the Asian Women's Studies Center at Ewha Womans University, and the book is a selection of lectures by EGEP faculty and major lectures by Asian women's studies researchers presented at open forums.
